Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health in Crownsville, MD. Our new schedule of workshops begins with a free 3 hour workshop. Please fax registration as soon as possible. Attached is our complete list of workshops for 2009.

Chesapeake Beach Professional Seminars will provide Play Therapy Training. To introduce this program, we are offering a FREE 3 hour workshop on Friday, February 13. You will be introduced to the world of play therapy, how it differs from regular play, how children benefit, and how to set up a play room. An array of play therapy techniques will be demonstrated and rehearsed. 3 CEUs will be offered to social workers, licensed professional counselors and play therapists. Don’t miss this opportunity for learning and networking!! Please register for ONE session and only if you are sure you are able to attend. Beginners will gain an understanding of play therapy and learn how it differs from regular play. History and theory of play therapy will be presented as well as how to implement the play therapy process from beginning to end. Participants will learn how to set up the therapy room, identify themes, therapeutic responses and specific interventions during the various stages of play therapy.
